Continuing along the coast you reach the beaches of Marathi and Loutraki, two sandy beaches equipped with a crystal clear sea from which you can admire the Lefka Ori mountains and the Apokoronas peninsula. In these two beaches you can rest while tasting good Cretan cuisine or simply refreshing yourself with a drink. The roads on the peninsula are in good condition and cross a pastoral landscape made of olive trees, orange trees, shrubs and herds of goats and sheeps.
